Welcome to the Borger Independent School District.  We are excited about the many accomplishments of our school district last year.  Through the dedication of our students and teachers, we experienced tremendous gains in academic achievement throughout the district.  We were also UIL academic champs at the high school, we won athletic state championships, several students participated in the state art competition, our marching band received a “1” rating, and our choir earned sweepstakes in varsity mixed choir as well as many other accomplishments throughout the district.  We look forward to another year of excellence.

With each school year comes a new set of expectations, and our students will continue to be challenged in the classroom.  We look forward to working with students, teachers, administrators, parents, and community stakeholders as we work to enrich the educational environment for all our students.  We encourage all students to take advantage of the many opportunities available to them inside and outside the classroom.  Our website provides information about the many organizations of our school district as well as highlights the many activities throughout the year.  As stated in the Borger ISD Belief Statements, the core business of our school district is classroom instruction and curriculum, and we strive to promote intellectual curiosity and academic rigor as we work to achieve a world-class school district.
